GeNeYouS, the next generation
Hardly four months after its kick-off GeNeYouS has already represented the Netherlands on the world congres for life sciences – Biovision 2003 in Lyon, France.
Maurice Zeegers, genetic epidemiologist, is board member and one of the initiators of GeNeYouS, the Netherlands’ platform for young scientists working in the field of genomics.
In April Maurice attended the World Life Science Platform – Biovision 2003 – together with 80 other promising scientists from all over the world. These scientists were selected based on their impressive acheivements in life sciences in their respective country.
Zeegers: "The assemblance of different researchers in a more or less informal way is a good stimulance to obtain new insights and collaborations. At the same time this is the occasion for GeNeYouS to get in touch with existing or to be formed foreign initiatives."
